a short catch up on life

Too little good times in life...

So i had finally completed my transition from my site office back to my main office. It was something i have been looking forward for a very long time because honestly, it sucked working alone there, and it sucked even more when many times i literally have nothing to do and i literally solitaired my way throughout the 9 hours.

Being back where i once was were truly awesome. I actually see faces of the people i’m liaising with! Back at site, it was phone calls and faxes. The (weird) good thing is definitely the increase of my work load. I dare say this cus im not exactly overloaded yet *giggles* but at least life is more productive at work.

The down side? Urgh.. People who know me, would know why. Still in the same office, and under the same pressure.

Being able to reach home after work is definitely one thing i look forward to even before i reached office. Haha. Still it is a pain in the butt driving back and forth as its raining season and the jam is just sickening.

Anyway, caught a movie the other day, it’s called “KNOWING” starring Nicholas Cage.

It is rather difficult to judge where it is a good movie. But from my POV, it is great. Nicholas Cage, awesome as always. And the fact that the movie actually brought major tears to my eyes makes it even better. One little complain though, the movie is going waaaay too slow..

SPOILERS ALERT..

During the beginning of the movie, you would have thought you’re up against a horror movie because of the constant suspense and sudden BAM!!. However, as it goes on, it is actually about..

Apocalypse and well.. Aliens!!!

To sum things short, this lady can predict every catastrophe that will occur within these 50 years. She would enter into a trance (or sorta) and start writing numbers like a mad person. These numbers represent the date of the catastrophe, the number of people that are going to die in it, and the location in the form of latitudes.

Nicholas Cage’s little son found the paper and as usually, daddy attempt to solve the mystery and found out that the last date is actually apocalypse a.k.a end of the world due to some explosion of the sun. daddy's a scientist btw..

At the same time, a bunch of weird dude keep bugging daddy and the son as if they were gonna kidnap the son.

And they were really on a kidnapping attempt to kidnap the son!! To save him that is.

These men are actually aliens. They come to earth to pick up “the chosen ones” to bring them out of earth and to another planet, so mankind can start all over again. Basically like Adam and Eve. They even have the forbidden fruit tree!

Imagine the heart piercing pain when daddy found out his son was the chosen one, and that he had to let his little boy go with the aliens as a last resort to make sure he is alive, while daddy stays back on earth, waiting for the end of the world.

Tears were gushing out through my eyes and i had to look away from the screen to avoid major weeping!

It was a good movie i’d say. Any movie that can make me cry is a good one!!
Right now i cant wait to watch benjimin button as the DVD is finally master copy! xD
